The OpenStreetMap Foundation is the organisation that provides the technical and formal legal infrastructure for the OpenStreetMap project. It sees itself as an enabler for OpenStreetMap and less as the governing body. The session will cover some of the history, the challenges of operating in our environment, an overview of ongoing projects, and most importantly, how you can help.
